Trader robbed of Rs 7 lakh

Bareilly, Oct 1 (UNI) Unidentified armed miscreants robbed a trader of Rs 7 lakh in Kotwali area here this evening.

Om Prakash Sagar was returning home after withrawing cash from an ICICI Bank branch, when he was waylaid by some motorcycle-borne near Mayor Camp office.

The accused flew the coop after snatching the bag containing cash.

Meanwhile, an ICICI Bank agent had been taken into custody and was being interrogated, police said.
