Talks are on with JD(S) leaders : Rajnath

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) The Core Committee group of the BJP today took stock of the political developments in Karnataka where uncertainty surrounds the proposed transfer of power from ruling coalition partner Janata Dal (Secular) to the party on October 3.

The meeting, which was presided by BJP President Rajnath Singh, also reviewed the results of the local body elections in Karnataka where the party was placed third.

The leaders who attended the meeting included Ms Sushma Swaraj BJP General Secretary Ram Lal, and Mr Arun Jaitely.

Speaking after the meeting, Mr Singh said the talks with the JD(S) leaders were on and he could not say anything at this stage.
