One shot dead, bomb found at Nagampal

Imphal, Oct 1: A man was today shot dead at Nagamapal here by unidentified miscreants. Police said investigation was on to nab the miscreants and ascertain the motive behind the murder.

In a separate incident a bomb was recovered at Kakching Wairi Ningthoujam Leikai at Thoubal district yesterday, police today informed. Some children playing near the area detected the bomb and reported the matter to the police.

The bomb was later defused by the experts, police added.
