One arrested in fake visa racket

Anand, Gujarat, Oct 1 (UNI) Sojitra Police have arrested one person and claim to have unearthed a visa scam.

Police arrested Jayesh Ambalal Patel on the basis of a complaint lodged by Gaurang R Patel.

According to the complaint lodged by Gaurang, he had been offered a London visa by Jayesh for Rs six lakh. He was provided a visa sticker which had turned out to be a fake, Gaurang said in his complaint.

Police are on the look out for another three persons -- Ramesh Thakore, Pravinsinh Patel and his wife Gita in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, Jayesh was produced before a local court today which remanded him in police custody for two days.
