New DAVP policy tomorrow: Dasmunsi

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) The new policy of the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP) will be announced tomorrow, benifiting Hindi and regional language newspapers, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said today.

The new policy would lift all the restrictions on small newspapers, Mr Dasmunsi told reporters after briefing them on the decisions of the Cabinet.

The move was coming in the light of his assurance to Parliament a year ago, he said.
