Maruti's domestic sales increased
New Delhi, Oct 1: Auto major Maruti Suzuki India Ltd today said it sold about 63,086 vehicles in the domestic market last month as compared to 56,606 vehicles in the corresponding period last year.
The company sold 67,448 vehicles in September, which includes 4,362 units of exports, a company statement said.
Maruti's volume in the domestic A2 segment went up by 21.8 per cent, while in the A3 segment the volume grew by 43.3 per cent during the month compared to sales in September 2006.
