Madheshis returning to Nepal

Gonda, Oct 1 (UNI) Almost 30,000 madheshis, who had migrated to the Devipatan division in Uttar Pradesh adjoining the Indo-Nepal border, following large-scale Maoist violence in Nepal, have started returning to the Himalayan Kingdom.

Madheshis are people of Indian origin living in Nepal.

Sources said the people in Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich districts of Devipatan division have started returning to Nepal, since the situation in that country had turned peaceful.
