Dr Kalam to speak at IIM-Indore

Indore, Oct 1: Renowned scientist and former President A P J Abdul Kalam will deliver the Eighth Foundation Day Lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI).

India's 'Missile Man' will speak on Creative Leadership, an IIMI release said.

The Institute was registered as a society on October 3, 1996.

Ever since its inception, IIMI made great strides in management education, training, research and consultancy.

Apart from its flagship programme -- a two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Management -- the Institute offers the Executive Post-Graduate Programme in Management, Broadband-Based Executive Education Programme, Certificate Course in Business Management for Defence Officers, Management Development Programmes and in-company programmes.

In order to promote advanced research in management, the IIMI launched the Fellow Programme in Management, a unique doctoral programme in management from 2006.

Besides, the Institute is also starting a post-doctoral programme from the next academic session. It is also planning to start a Broadband-based Post-Graduate Executive Programme in Retail Management and Family-Owned Business and Entrepreneurship soon.
