Boy taken into custody, thrashed in MP

Satna, MP, Oct 1 (UNI) A 15-year-old was hospitalised at this district headquarters today due to being allegedly beaten up after he was taken into police custody in the wake of being suspected of stealing a motorbike.

Police claimed today that Sonu Kushwah was unwell when taken into custody on September 29. The boy's father Kishan alleged that the beating led to deterioration in his son's condition.

Superintendent of Police Kamal Singh Rathore assured an inquiry.
