Body recovered from drum in UP capital

Lucknow, Sep 30 (UNI) Police today recovered a body from a drum near Lucknow Public School in Chinhut area here.

On being informed by the locals, the body was seized from a drum parallel to the Jal Sansthan wall.

According to the police, the corpse bore injury marks on the neck and prima facie, it appeared the person was garrotted.

Efforts were on to establish the identity of the deceased and investigations were on.
