BJP to organise peace demonstrations on Ram Sethu

Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) In protest against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's disparaging remarks on Lord Rama, the BJP Andhra Pradesh State Unit will organise 'Peace Demonstrations', coinciding with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, at all district headquarters tomorrow.

A release said here today, the BJP leaders and workers would participate in the demonstrations where they would recite 'Raghupathi Raghava Rajaram' and 'Sundarakanda Parayanam' in protest against Mr Karunanidhi's statements.

The BJP also demanded that the Centre should take action against the officials who filed the controversial affidavit on Ram Sethu in the Supreme Court hurting the sentiments of the crores of Hindus in the country.
