Barwani, MP, Oct 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said the BJP is prepared to face mid-term Lok Sabha polls.

He was talking to reporters after 'Jandarshan' programme at Dhawli village here.

Speaking about the possibility of snap polls in view of differences between the UPA Government and their Left allies over Indo-US nuclear deal, Mr Chouhan the BJP had never prepared an agenda for elections but it was always ready to face the electorate.

He said the BJP-led NDA Government never spoke about demolition of the 'Ram Setu'. Mr Chouhan pointed out that Lord Rama was a centre of belief for several people and baseless things about him should not be uttered.

The government was locating the path traversed by Lord Rama during the period of his exile. A separate 'Religious Tourism Circuit' would be developed after identifying special incidents related to Lord Rama.

On investigation being carried out against the state's 16 ministers by the Lokayukta, Mr Chouhan said several cases had no importance or are not true and no action was taken merely on the basis of a complaint.

Mr Chouhan said directions had been issued for making preparations for the 'Mahamastakabhishek Samaroh' at world-famous Digamber Jain pilgrim spot 'Bavangaja' to be held in January 2008.
