30 specialist doctors promoted

Puducherry, Oct 1 (UNI) The Puducherry administration has issued promotion order for 30 specialist doctors in government service.

According to a release from Health Minister E Valsaraj's office, the administration had been adopting the pattern of appointment of central health service medical officers and accordingly, in all the government hospitals and institutions, appointments to the post of general duty medical officer, chief medical officer, specialist grade one and two were being made.

Thirty specialist grade two doctors have been promoted to specialist grade one, the release said.
