1.950 kg heroin seized from three drug traffickers

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) The Delhi Police have seized 1.950 kg of heroin from drug traffickers, including a woman, arrested from different part of Delhi.

A woman named Khairun Nisha was arrested by the police this morning from the Loni in Ghaziabad when she had come to supply heroin to an unknown person and 200 gm heroin seized from her.

In another incident, 1.5 kg of heroin was seized from one Mohd Kadir who was arrested near Karkardooma courts in East Delhi yesterday afternoon when he had come to supply heroin to an unknown person.

In a third case, one Raisuddin was arrested from Khanpur with 255 gm heroin.

Cases under the NDPS Act have been registered against the three persons.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police busted a drug trafficking network operating from Eastern Uttar Pradesh to Delhi with the arrest of two persons from Tilak Nagar in West Delhi on Saturday evening.

Five kg opium each was seized from Mohammed Wasid and Sayed Wahid Ali.

Both the accused were produced in Karkardooma court and remanded to police custody.
