Passenger train derails on Patna-Gaya line

Patna, Sep 30 (UNI) A Passenger train today derailed near Sipara in between Patna and Parsabajar railway stations on Patna-Gaya route under Danapur division of East Central Railway.

Railway sources here said two bogies of 572 down passenger train got derailed following which train services on the line were disrupted for a few hours.

However, there were no reports of casualty or injury in the accident, officials said.

They further said an accident relief train had been pressed into service to the spot, where senior railway officials were camping.
