Inter-state vehicle lifting gang unearthed, 5 held

Jaunpur, Sep 30:Police have busted an Inter-state vehicle lifting gang and arrested its five members, including the kingpin, from this district.

Kingpin Mahesh and his aides Shiv Pujan, Lahuri Yadav, Ramesh and Vimal were nabbed during a vehicle checking at Kuttupur crossing late last night, police said today.

Besides, five vehicles reportedly theft from Maharashtra, Haryana, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, were seized.

Investigations were underway.
