Clash over 'window seat' leads to murder

Chennai, Sep 30 (UNI) A mentally deranged man killed another in a clash over occupying a place near a window at the Kilpauk Institute of Mental Health here last night.

Police said Baskar (33), a resident of Arakkonam, and Arulraj (35), hailing from Sendhamangalam in Tirunelveli district, had been arrested by police in separate cases sometime ago.

On finding them mentally unsound, police admitted them to the mental institute, where the duo entered into a wordy duel.

In the process, Arulraj brutally attacked Baskar and the latter was declared brought dead at the Government General Hospital.
