Attempt to commit suicide in police station

Shivpuri, MP, Sep 30 (UNI) One person today attempted to commit suicide at Khaniadhana police station in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.

Superintendent of Police Dinesh Chandra Sharma said Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur-resident Shishupal Singh was arrested in connection with two incidents of loot last night.

He was being taken for finger print testing today when he grabbed a fused tubelight and stabbd in his stomach.

He was rushed to a hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
