TRAI extends date for comments on mobile TV

New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the date to October 15 for sending comments on the consultation paper relating to mobile television service.

A consultation paper on issues relating to Mobile Television Service was issued by TRAI on September 18 and the comments of the stakeholders were invited by September 30.

''We have received requests from some stakeholders for extension of time for sending comments. Keeping in view the importance of the issue and the need for wider participation of stakeholders in the consultation process, we has decided to extend the last date for sending comments,'' TRAI said in a statement.
