Former Pak Judge to challenge Musharraf

Ahmed,
a
former
Supreme
Court
judge,
filed
presidential
nomination
papers
with
the
view
to
challenging
Pervez
Musharraf
in
upcoming
presidential
elections
on
Thursday.
Ahmed refused to swear allegiance to Musharraf after his 1999 coup. His lawyer supporters chanted "go Musharraf, go" as he entered the Election Commission. Musharraf also filed nomination papers on Thursday to run for re-election on Oct. 6.
