VC moots consortium

Puducherry, Sep 28 (UNI) Vice-Chancellor of the Pondicherry University JAK Tareen today called for the Setting up of an academic consortium for discussing various changes in the field of higher education.

Inaugurating a symposium "Automation of college administration and networking between colleges in the university here, Prof.Tareen said there should be a common portal for the university with all details of the affiliated colleges.

He sought the support of all colleges as it would benefit them also.

He stressed that a journal should also be brough out with the combined efforts of all the colleges.
