Precious metals up

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Precious metals went up today on better buying support as silver rose by Rs 85 per kg and gold by Rs 75 per ten gm, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 fineness grade: Rs 18,195 Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 9,495 Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 9,545.
