Kolkata, Sep 28 (UNI) Philips Electronics today unveiled its latest range of lighting solutions for office, shop and city beautification segments for the city's market.
Addressing mediapersons here, Mr Mathew Job, Marketing Director- Lighting Division, Philips Electronics India Limited, said in line with the brand promise of 'sense and simplicity,' the latest product range was advanced, user friendly and elegant with attractive features.
'' We are determined to unlock the potential of lighting to deliver meaningful and exciting benefits to users in different applications. This latest range of lighting solutions can be used to create a highly personalised ambience,'' Mr Job observed.
He said these products were not only aesthetically designed but also help save energy and could benefit the consumers by creating the right ambience for office, retail and outdoor use.
Outlining the strategy for eastern market, Mr Job said East India, specially Kolkata, has a significant market for Philips lighting. The region contributed to 20 per cent of the Company's lighting revenues and was expected to grow at the rate of 15-20 per cent per annum.
He said in line with the Company's commitment to energy efficient lighting, Philips was embarking on a national Energy Management School Contact Programme.
'' As part of this initiative, we plan to generate awareness on energy efficient lighting by targeting 70 schools in Kolkata and reaching out to approximately 50,000 students in the city,'' Mr Job maintained.
