Minor raped

Jabalpur, Sep 28 (UNI) A 12-year-old has been raped in front of her divorcee mother at Saharanpur in this district, police said today.

The girl's mother shared a live-in relationship with Manish, while the girl used to live with her maternal grandmother.

On September 18, Manish threatened the girl's mother and asked her to bring her daughter home. The woman brought her daughter home next day.

Later, Manish tied both mother and daughter and sexually assaulted the girl. He held them captive and kept them without food for four days.

The woman managed to escape and informed police with the help of villagers. After investigation, police registered a case and arrested Manish yesterday.
