Key cotton dip again on weaker advice from Guj

Mumbai, Sep 28 (UNI) Select cotton prices today declined again by Rs 100 per candy on sustained heavy offers by stockists in view of bearish advice from Gujarat, Karnataka and Punjab, traders at the East India Cotton Association said.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy (350 kg) in Rupees: Bengal Desi: 15,300, V-797: 16,000, Karnataka Jayadhar: 15,400, V-1: 17,600, Punjab J-34: 18,800, NHH-44: 18,500, LRA: 19,200, H-4: 19,800, S-6-A grade: 20,100, Bunny/Brahma: 20,700, MCU-5: 21,200, DCH-32: 22,200, 35-MM: 32,100, Hedge Contract: 19,700.
