Five railway projects for Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 28 (UNI) UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi would be the Chief Guest at various functions of Indian Railways to be held at Rewari in Haryana on October 7 where five projects would be implemented.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said the implementation of these projects of Indian Railways would meet the long standing demand of the people of the area and facilitate a large number of passengers.

He said Ms Sonia Gandhi would dedicate to the nation the newly converted broad gauge rail line between Rewari and Sarai Rohilla Delhi.

She would also lay the foundation stones of new broad gauge rail line between Rewari and Rohtak and of electrification of rail line between Rohtak and Shakurbasti.

The Chief Minister said two new passenger trains would be flagged off by Ms Gandhi on that day from Rewari. One of these would run between Rewari and Delhi and the other between Rohtak and New Delhi.
