Bus passengers bus robbery

Gulbarga, Spt 28 (UNI) Courageous bus passengers foiled the bus robbery by overpowering a robber at Gour Cross about 50 km from here, in Jawargi taluk last night.

Police said that Ismail Shaw(22) who boarded a Road Transport Corporation bus on the Gulbarga-Surpur highway robbed the passengers at knife point when it reached the Gour Cross.

The driver and the passengers overpowered him as he was alighting from the bus with the loot, He was handed over to the police UNI
