Two engineers sent to jail

Patna, Sep 27 (UNI) Special CBI judge of Patna R S Prasad today remanded a Superintending engineer and an Assistant engineer of Central Public Works Department (CPWD) of Patna in judicial custody till October 11 in a bribery case.

During the day, the accused Superintending engineer, Adesh kumar, and the Assistant engineer, Harikrishna Prasad, were produced by CBI officials before the designated judge under corruption charge.

According to the charges, both accused were arrested, while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively from a contractor on September 26 to move his file of a contract.
