Train services between Tambaram, Chengalpattu hit

Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI) Train services between Tambaram and Chengalpattu were affected for an hour after lightning hit Tambaram railway station control room here this evening.

Railway officials said apart from the signal failure, operations of railway gates in these route were also affected.

Express trains from Egmore station were stopped at Tambaram for a while due to the signal failure.

UNI
