"Tamizhar Thanthai" Adityanar remembered

Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI) Floral tributes were paid to ''Tamizhar Thanthai'' Adityanar, founder of Tamil daily ''Daily Thanthi'' on the occasion of his 103rd birth anniversary.

Daily Thanthi Director and son of late leader Sivanthi Adityan and ''Malai Malar'' Managing Director S Balasubramania Adityan led a host of leaders and employees of the daily and eveninger in paying tributes to Adityanar, by garlanding his statue in Egmore.

Tamil Nadu Minister Poongothai, former DMK Minister Sarguna Pandian, TNCC President K Krishnasamy, former TNCC President Kumari Anandan, former Deputy Mayor Karate Thiagarajan, BJP state unit President L Ganesan, former Union Minister Su Thirunavukarasar, DPI leader Thol Thirumavalavan, New Justice Party leader A C Shanmugam and All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi President Sarath Kumar were among others who paid floral tributes.
