SWR extends trains to clear extra rush

Bangalore, Sep 27 (UNI) South Western Railway has extended a few Special trains to cope up with extra rush during the forthcoming holidays.

Train no 0501 Gorakhpur-Yeswantpur weekly express special would leave Gorakhpur at 0630 hrs on Mondays and arrive at Yesvantpur at 1010 hrs on Wdnesdays, a SWR press release said.

The first extended service from Gorakhpur would start on October one and the last service would be on November 26.

On the return direction, train no 0502 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur weekly Express special would leave Yesvantpur at 730hrs and reach Gorakhpur at 1420 hrs on Saturdays.

The first extended service from Yesvantpur would commence from October four and the last service would be on November 29.

Train no 0689 Bangalore City-Hubli Tri-weekly would leave Bangalore city on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2310 hrs and arrive in Hubli at 0745 hrs the next day.

The first extended service from Bangalore City would be on October one and the last service would be on January 31.

On the return journey, train no 0690 Hubli-Bangalore City tri-weekly Special would leave Hubli on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2220 hrs and arrive in Bangalore City at 0810 hrs on the next day.

The first extended service from Hubli would be on September 30 and the last would be on January 30.
