Sunita Williams in AP capital

Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Indian-American Astronaut Sunita Williams,who set the record for the longest stay in space by a woman, today arrived in the capital from Ahmedabad to participate in 58th Indian Astronautical Congress (IAC 2007).

Ms Williams, who was received by the IAC organisers amid tight security at the Begumpet Airport, would give a briefing on the complex technological challenges associated with the International Space Station (ISS) to a galaxy of scientists from across the world at the Congress tomorrow.

She would also talk about her experiences in operating the ISS from December 2006 to June 2007 and interact with select students and delegates at the conference.
