One electrocuted, 6 injured

Allahabad, Sep 27 (UNI) At least one person was killed and six grivously injured after being struck by lightening in Bara area of the city this evening, police said.

Following incessant rainfall, they had taken shelter under a tree at village Lohgara.

Wherein, they were struck by lightening, killing Chedi Lal instantly.

The injured were rushed to the Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) hospital in a critical condition, they said.
