Militant responsible for attack on MLA's house nabbed

Imphal, Sep 27 (UNI) A cadre of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) was nabbed by Manipur police on Tuesday his alleged involvement in an attack on the home of MLA Brajabidhu Singh on May 26.

Superintendent of Police, Imphal West, Clay Khongsai today said the PREPAK cadre identified as Radheshyam confessed to his crime.

The SP further added the militant was assigned to collect party funds from shopkeepers of the bazar area .

In another incident a cadre of People's Liberation Army (PLA) was nabbed by 21 Assam Rifles Troops from Thoubal district late yesterday, police said.
