Couple shot dead in Munger

Munger, Sep 27 (UNI) A couple was shot dead by armed criminals at Janipur Singia village under Safia Sarai police station area in the district early today.

Police here said the criminals barged into the residence of one Babu Saheb Yadav and opened fire indiscriminately killing him and his wife Lalita Devi on the spot.

Police stated land dispute to be the motive behind the killing adding that raids were being carried out to nab the murderers.
