3 pilgrims killed in bus accident

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Sep 27 (UNI) Three women were killed on the spot and 20 others injured when a private bus carrying about 35 pilgrims from Bilaspur to Gaya in Bihar overturned in Korba district of Chhattisgarh last night, police said.

The deceased were identified as Ms Saroj Pande(45), Ms Kanti Sahu (42) and Ms Suman Tiwari(48).

The accident occured at Parla village near Chotia police outpost, 75 km from here, as the driver lost control, police added.

Two seriously injured were admitted to the medical college hospital at Bilaspur and six others at Pondi community health centre. The driver and conductor were among the injured.
