Youth drowned in Kolhapur Dist

Kolhapur, Sep 25 (UNI) A 20-year-old youth was drowned in a river while immersing a Lord Ganesh idol in Karvir tehsil of the district this evening.

The youth was identified as Rajendra Omprakash Mahamuni of village Rajputwadi, police sources said.

His friend rescued and rushed him to civil hospital here, where he was declared dead on admission, sources added.
