Vigilance sleuth arrests Panchayat Sachiv

Patna, Sep 26 (UNI) The Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today arrested a Panchayat Sachiv when the latter was accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from a Mukhiya.

Official sources here said acting on the complaint of the Mukhiya of Mauryavashivgadh Panchayat, the bureau officials laid a trap and caught the Panchayat sachiv red handed.

According to charges, the Panchayat sachiv had demanded Rs 5000 from the Mukhia to clear a project.

The arrested Panchayat sachiv was being interrogated and would be produced before the special court in Patna tomorrow.
