JK: 2 top HM Cdrs, 2 LeT ultras, soldier killed

Jammu, Sep 26: Two top Hizb-ul Mujahideen (HM) militants, including its 'Divisional Commander', were shot dead by the security forces in an encounter at Ghatt in Doda today while two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were killed at Budhal in Rajouri district last afternoon, official sources said.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of 10 RR and police established contact with HM's 'Divisional Commander' Mohammad Shafi, alias Nasir, and 'Tehsil commander' Javed Iqbal, alias Umar Gazi, at Ghatt and eliminated them after brief midnight encounter, SSP (Doda) Manohar Singh told UNI
