Numismatic exhibition to be organised on World Tourism Day

Puducherry, Sep 26 (UNI) The Southern Region Numismatic Society along with the Puducherry Tourism Department would organise a two-day Numismatic exhibition to mark 'World Tourism Day' celebrations.

Talking to newspersons here today, President of the Society, Gopi Raman said Puducherry tourism Secretary, A Anbarasu would inaugurate the exhibition at Amalorbhavan Higher Secondary School here tomorrow and the exhibition would be opened for the public on September 28 and 29.

Coins used about 2500 years ago and released during the time of several Emperors in India to commemmorate certain occasions would be on display in the exhibition, Mr Raman informed.
