No decision yet on poll tie-up in TN: Rajnath

Chennai, Sep 26: The BJP has yet to take a decision on an electoral tie-up in Tamil Nadu in the event of a mid-term parliamentary polls, Party President Rajnath Singh said.

In a brief interaction with newspersons on his arrival here last night, he said, ''If the elections are announced, then the BJP high command will consult the State unit of the party and take a decision on forging an alliance with some parties.'' ''So far we have not taken any decision on having an alliance with some parties in Tamil Nadu,'' he added.

Mr Singh is here to attend the funeral of former BJP President Jana Krishnamurthy, who died yesterday.
