Nikkei slips, then picks up as exporters gain

TOKYO, Sep 26 (Reuters) Japan's Nikkei average swung into positive territory after opening slightly lower on Wednesday as exporters such as Canon Inc gained following a rise on Wall Street.

As of 0011 GMT, the benchmark Nikkei was up 0.08 percent or 12.66 points at 16,414.39. The broader TOPIX index added 0.3 percent to 1,571.53.
