Museum official held for bribery

Bhopal, Sep 26 (UNI) The CBI has arrested the Superintendent, Regional Museum of Natural History, red-handed on the museum premises while accepting a bribe.

The official, Ramanand Rao, allegedly demanded Rs 3,500 from a private security agency in return for releasing payment long overdue to the agency whose guards' services were being availed by the museum, CBI sources said.

Rao, who was accepting the money last evening from a person running the agency, will be produced in court today.

The agency had complained to the CBI.
