Indian flight to Port Blair cancelled due to tech snag

Chennai, Sep 26 (UNI) A Port Blair-bound Indian Flight, which developed a technical snag minutes before take off from the airport here today, was cancelled.

Airport sources said the flight IC-549, with 142 passengers on board, was all set to take off, when the Pilot noticed a snag in the engine.

As the flight could not take off, the passengers were asked to disembark from the aircraft. Since the snag had to be rectified, the Indian announced cancellation of the flight and accommodated the passengers in hotels.
