Bullet-ridden body of woman recovered in TN village

Villupuram, Sep 26 (UNI) The bullet-ridden body of a woman was recovered at Nemoor village in this district of Tamil Nadu last night, police said today.

Sakunthala (40), member of a group of gypsies, had bled to death.

Ramesh, one of the gypsies, told police that he had loaded his rifle, used for hunting birds, and went to sleep.

Ramesh and others were being questioned by police.

Investigations were on.
