BHEL bags Rs 765 cr order for power plant

New Delhi, Sep 26: PSU major Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd today said it has secured a Rs 765 crore order to set up a power plant in the eastern part of the country.

The plant will be dedicated to a steel unit, a company statement said.

Recently, the company had received 70 per cent of the order for manufacturing power plant equipments for the proposed 78,600 MW of additional power generation during the Eleventh Five Year Plan.
