Woman dies in wall collapse in UP

Jaunpur, Sep 25: A woman was killed, while her daughter was severely injured in a wall collapse in the Sikrara area here this morning.

The accident occurred in Kurni (Harijanbasti) village, where Raj Kumari alias Chutki (45) and her 20-year-old daughter Soni were trapped under the debris of the dilapidated wall of their house, police said.

The mother died on the spot, while Soni was grievously wounded in the mishap and admitted to hospital.
