International automakers eyeing India
New Delhi, Sep 23, 2007: Getting a foothold in this giant country can be a tricky affair…and the key to success lies in keeping the price ticket low, squeezing profit margins.
But, even this is not deterring automakers like Renault, Hyundai and others from entering the Indian domain. Global marketing information services firm JD Power and Associates predicts that annual vehicle sales in India will nearly double to 2 million by 2012.
