Eklavya: India's official entry for Oscars

Mumbai, Sep 25, 2007: Vidhu Vinod Chopra's violent family saga Eklavya - The Royal Guard has been nominated as India"s official entry to the Oscars.

The decision to nominate the film was announced by the President of Film Federation of India, Vinod Pande. Distributed by Eros Intl., "Eklavya" stars Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan as the titular guard who protects a contempo Indian royal family and all their secrets!
