Delay Nuclear deal: Left parties

Chandigarh, Sept 23, 2007: The main communist party that is the Communist Party of India (M), today asked the government that it should not pursue a controversial nuclear deal with the United States without first examining the Left parties concerns.

The threat from the left follows the meetings of a joint panel formed to resolve differences between leftist parties and the government over the agreement.
